Getting a My Computer view of your system in Windows Explorer
If you have a large hard disk, chances are that you've partitioned it into
several drives. When you double-click the My Computer icon, you see a list
of all the drives on your hard disk, which is very convenient because you
can easily access any of your drives. However, when you launch Windows Explorer,
it opens with the contents of drive C displayed in the right pane. Wouldn't
it be nice if Windows Explorer displayed a list of drives like My Computer?
Fortunately, doing so is easy. Just hold down the [Shift] key while you
double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
